WICHITA, Kan. - 09/05/01 - Coalition Computing Corporation, a leading provider of Information Technology (IT) business management systems, today announced plans to break ground for a new office building in the Lakepoint Office Park at Central and Webb Road.

Founded in 1993 by President Jim Johnson, Coalition Computing offers a complete line of technological services to small- and medium-sized businesses throughout Kansas and Oklahoma.  Services range from network installation services and support to the implementation of complete Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems—including tightly integrated financial, manufacturing, distribution, supply chain management and e-commerce applications.

With over $2 million in annual sales, Coalition Computing continues to form strategic partnerships with area businesses to define their specific technological system needs and to implement IT strategies that position those businesses for long-term growth.

With room for future expansion, the new office building in the Lakepoint Office Park has two levels with a total of 5,400 square-feet of office space and attractive landscaped surroundings overlooking a scenic fountain.  The expected ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled for Friday, September 7, 2001, at 3:00 p.m. and the new office is expected to be completed in early March, 2002. Farha Construction, Inc. is the general contractor.  Shad Traylor, architect with Jeff Krehbiel Associates, designed the office building.  Financing is provided through Security Savings Bank, Bank of America, and SKEDD for the SBA.

“We are very excited about the new Lakepoint office. It confirms our commitment to helping growing businesses like ours in Kansas and Oklahoma position themselves for the future,” said Jim Johnson. “With more office space, we will also have the opportunity to expand our services and strengthen existing customer relationships by adding to our experienced team of professional consultants, programmers and network specialists. And with more square footage, we will be able to offer our customers on-site training—a key benefit that we have not yet been able to provide.”
